Work from Home Ergonomics



With the ongoing spread of COVID-19, many businesses are transitioning their employees to remote work. However, not everyone has a designated home office space for setting up their computer equipment properly. Instead, people are making do with kitchen tables, sofas, or folding tables. While these temporary workstations can get the job done, they often lack proper ergonomic support.

Poor ergonomics can lead to musculoskeletal issues like lower back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, and tendinitis, as noted by the American Society of Safety Professionals. Ergonomics focuses on enhancing comfort, health, and productivity in the workplace, and there are small adjustments you can make to create a more ergonomic home office.
